Facebook.com has a plethora of features available for members, the chief among them being the ‘wall.’ This is a place for the members to post comments, questions or sayings on the profiles of both other members and themselves. While this may seem very open and public, only those accepted as friends can view wall posts. In Facebook, private messages can be sent that only the sender and receiver(s) can view. This is just as good as an e-mail and much easier to use. All one needs to know is the recipient’s name. This name is searched and then the message can be sent.
